This is the jacket that Tyler surprised me with for my birthday, and I’ve been living in it. The leather is incredibly soft and amazing supple – it feels as cozy as my yoga jacket, I could sleep in it. I find myself wearing it over everything – jeans, dresses, and I’d probably wear it with sweats if I had any. Saturday night was beautiful and Tyler and I headed to our new-to-us favorite local spot, El Tio, for dinner. We cut through the new Gainesville Promenade Town Center and when I saw this little alley by shops that haven’t yet opened with a parking spot right out front, I begged him to snap some pictures. There was a gorgeous breeze and I keep thinking looking at these pictures how lovely it would have looked with my long hair – the first time I’ve really missed it, but now I’m eager to grow it out.
Less than 3 feet away from Tyler during these pictures was one happy bug in her carseat, who begged with a grin when I walked back to the car, “Take my picture too!” Hands down, that kid has the most beautiful smile in the world.
