I’m about a month late to post these, but I stumbled across the pictures from when Guinevere saw Santa this year and while Christmas is already long gone, this is still my favorite outfit that she owns. I have had her wear the skirt and top separately several times since this day, and will likely sob buckets the day she outgrows it.
I take her to the same Santa that I went to as a kid – for those local to NOVA, you must visit him – such a magical experience. I wrote about it here last year, but he can truly make any non-believer convinced that he is the real Santa. It was such a joy to take her this year, now that she’s old enough to understand Christmas and be excited about meeting him. Seriously, look at that face.
So excited to get to join the big kids to sing carols with Santa around the manger display, and pray for baby Jesus!
Up next to see Santa! Unbelievably excited.
She told him she wanted “glittery gold” – mama did a lousy job explaining Christmas this year, she apparently thought her only options were Frankencense, Gold or Myrrh – and despite our urging to tell him she liked Doc McStuffins, she said she wanted glittery gold. HA.
Her outfit is from Janie and Jack, and I linked to items in this post.
