Last weekend we took Guinevere to the Maryland Renaissance Festival. I had never been before, and we had the BEST day. I have a ton of pictures, but none top my little pink fairy that danced and flit and cast magic spells all over everyone she met. I’m obviously biased, but she was the cutest thing there and I couldn’t stop watching her in awe.
The second I saw someone wearing these crowns, I begged Tyler to let Guinevere and I get some. His friends joke about how since I was in college this year and we paid for my braces that I’m his second kid, and I’m sure he felt that way as I excitedly asked him if he minded. Truthfully, I felt like a kid being there – and I was SO excited when we finally found the vendor stand.
When we saw the face painting booth, we took Guinevere over to pick out a design. We thought she might like a gorgeous butterfly around her eyes, or little jewels – fairy, pretty face painting like the other girls had. NOPE. Guinevere wanted a mean, fire-breathing dragon on her arm. The face painter took liberties to make it more girly and added glitter (not because we asked – I guess she felt it needed to be “pretty” too) and Guinevere sat SO still letting her work. Afterwards, she loved her dragon tattoo (just like Daddy’s sleeves!) and kept RAWRRing her cousins. We did a Face, Feet and Fanny bath that night so she could stretch her tattoo out another day and enjoy Sunday also 😉
The prettiest fairy princess I ever did see. Someone desperately needs to get married and hire her as a flower girl – unless you don’t like being upstaged 😉

Our guest host this week is Nicole from Lillies and Leon. Nicole just started blogging this year, but has one of those beautiful, poignant blogs where you kinda want her life in as non-creepy of a way as possible. She takes stunning pictures and has a sweet way of sharing about motherhood in NYC.
Our Tot of the Week is Waverly from Words about Waverly. I only have one question – does that outfit come in my size?! Cuz I would rock the heck out of that romper and sandals.
- Trendy Tot Tuesday is a chance to talk about kid’s style, and pretty much anything goes. Pictures of your cutie, talking about their style (that you buy and dress them in, ahem!), a Polyvore board, linking to the new kid’s line at the Gap – anything! All ages welcome, from you sweet pregnant mamas stocking up a closet to the teenagers that probably pick all their own stuff out now
- This is a hop-style link up – please follow your hosts (myself, Lindsay and Megan) – we are in spots 1-3, and our guest host Nicole in spot 4. Also, jump around to meet other bloggers! We hope everyone gains some new followers from this link-up and finds some fabulous new blogs!
